1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using yozzytools ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

yozzytools provides free online PDF tools that operate entirely within your browser. All file processing happens locally on your device — your files are never uploaded to our servers.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time, with or without notice.

3. Use of Service

• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
• You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
• You shall not reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.
• You shall not use the Service to process content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights.

4. No Account Required

Our Service does not require account registration. You can use all available tools immediately without creating an account. There are currently no paid features or subscriptions.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service's design, branding, logos, and original code are our intellectual property. Our Service is built using open-source libraries (Nuxt, pdf-lib, Tesseract.js) which remain under their respective open-source licenses (MIT, Apache 2.0, etc.).

You retain all rights to the files you process using our Service. We claim no ownership over your content.

6. User Content & Files

You retain all rights to your files. Since all processing occurs locally in your browser, we never receive, store, or have access to your files. You are solely responsible for the content you process and the legality of processing such content.

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Process illegal content or engage in illegal activities
• Violate third-party intellectual property rights
• Distribute malware, viruses, or harmful code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity of the Service

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, yozzytools shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.

For users who pay for premium features (if introduced in the future), our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. For free users, our total liability shall not exceed $10 USD.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless yozzytools and its affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion for violations of these Terms or for any other reason. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including warranty disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) shall survive.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute arising from these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved informally by contacting legal@yozzytools.com. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
